Our clients, our team

Our attorneys recognize that each client is an integral member of the team. Perhaps in no other area of our practice is this team approach more critical. In a divorce, you are essentially disassembling the life you spent years putting together. We spend time getting to know our clients, their needs, and their wishes. Together, we develop a strategic vision for their future. We apply this approach to all divorce-related issues, including:

  • Property division
  • Child custody and visitation
  • Child support
  • Spousal support (alimony)
  • Adoption including step-parent adoption

Divorce and tax implications

Attorney Terrance J. Dunn is a certified public accountant (CPA), and his knowledge of tax law provides insight on the tax implications of divorce settlements. These include business valuations and retirement plan issues.

Modification of judgments

A "material change in condition" such as a change in income or the relocation of a parent may cause one party to petition for a modification to the divorce decree. Our firm represents parties who seek or oppose such modifications. Generally, the proposed changes relate to support and custody arrangements.
